After three failed attempts at finding a new dry cleaning service, I found one with which I am delighted! Village Cleaners in Menlo Park has been wonderful. Their service is friendly. They have been under the same family ownership for ages. Most exciting is that their work has been great, and the price was fantastic!
To give you some back story, Sharon Heights cleaners, (next to Safeway), took the liberty of cutting off the bottom of my husband’s shirt.  And then, they fought me, unsuccessfully,  as they thought they were entitled to take artistic license with clothing dropped off for dry cleaning. To add insult to injury, the owner tried to invoke religion at the end of her unbelievable unethical attempts to avoid paying for the damage.
Next stop was Country Club. They were okay for a while, but sent home wet clothes once, and then bleached ivory dress shirts of my husband. I was done.
Lastly, I tried the French named cleaners downtown. They did an average job on the clothes. My linen was a bit over pressed. But the bill was about 60 dollars higher than any other place I had tried. And they are under relatively new ownership. So, those who remember it 10 years ago, it is not the same.
So the next time you are looking to unload some dry cleaning, try Village Cleaners next to Flea Street Cafe. Enter on Avy, across from The Dutch Goose.  There is a lot behind the building where you find ample parking. Easy!
